I always read your posts, Tom, even though that's no great thing in proving their importance, which I perceive as profound. You are a great thinker, and you know it. I know it. The whole world should know it. I don't always register my "Like" when I've read your pieces. That's implicit in my having read them. There should be a metric on how many views you're are getting, and how many minutes people are reading your stuff—if there isn't one already. I veer towards valuing your political and historical acuity over your astounding music-listening numbers. Many's the time I've listened to your recommendations and been pleased with what I'm hearing. Especially with jazz, where I don't otherwise get enough ideas what to scarf up. I AM intimidated by your cooking posts. Every time I read about some feast you've prepared I feel bad that the time you passed through I only had a vegan stew thing that wasn't very tasty at all. My wife usually does the cooking these days, while I always do the much more arduous cleaning up afterwards. She does pretty well, but that she won't cook for any of the few people I might deem worthy of sharing a table—it's one of my crosses to bear, I guess.
